Why did you choose graduate school at IUPUI?
I chose IUPUI because of how diverse and welcoming it is. I looked at a couple of schools, but IUPUI stood out the most. I even spoke to a few students who were already at IUPUI and everyone had nothing but praise. The way IUPUI creates a welcoming and inclusive environment with faculty members who always open to talking to students is truly something that makes it better than a lot of other universities.
What has been your favorite academic accomplishment since you’ve been here?
There are a few but I think winning the Three-Minute Pitch (3MP) competition would be the best so far!
What do you enjoy most about life in Indianapolis?
Everything! People in Indianapolis and at IUPUI are super kind and supportive. I have worked with multiple departments and never had a bad experience in any of those. I love Indianapolis as it is very calm and doesn’t stress me out.
