Division of Science - Mental Health Counseling

Our challenging 60-credit hour program meets the graduate education requirements for licensure as a mental health counselor in Indiana. You can choose full-time or part-time studies. More affordable than similar programs, you will benefit from smaller class sizes (maximum of 16 students) and the extensive academic resources of Indiana University.<br/ While completing our generalist program, you will work with faculty to explore areas of professional interest through course projects and clinical field experiences. We have paid, on-campus internships for second and third year undergraduates at IU Indianapolis. Interns work on health and science projects with faculty and staff on campus for the entire academic year. This is valuable experience for applying to graduate and professional programs in the future. |

School of Medicine - Graduate Division

Indiana University School of Medicine (IUSM), the largest medical school in the US, offers graduate degrees in many basic medical science disciplines. PhD students enter through an Open Admission (IBMG Program) where they have up to 1 year to select a research laboratory & degree program [students participate in 3 lab rotations to facilitate their decision]. Also offered: Research-based MS degrees in several disciplines & specialty areas. MS students enter directly into the applied program. In addition to the PhD & MS programs, the IUSM offers a NIH designated Medical Scientist Training Program (MSTP) leading to the combined MD/PhD. |

Anyone with an interest in graduate school is welcome.
Registration is encouraged though not required.
