The CTL offers a variety of programming for graduate student teaching development including:
- an annual fall semester Teaching Assistants (TA) Orientation in partnership with the Graduate School. The TA Orientation provides new graduate student teaching assistants with basic strategies and tools to successfully start and manage their teaching responsibilities inside and outside the classroom;
- a variety of workshops and webinars throughout the year for graduate students, postdocs, and faculty concerning various teaching and learning topics;
- one-on-one and group teaching consultations; and
- Emerging Scholars of College Instruction Program (ESCIP), a cohort program which is open to all graduate and professional students at no cost. ESCIP helps students elevate their teaching expertise to a higher level to boost their future career success.
