Plans of Study
The graduate plan of study is due to the IU Indianapolis Graduate School before the first day of classes of the semester of graduation. Your department or school may have an earlier deadline set to ensure the ability to achieve all faculty approvals to meet the hard Purdue deadline. See the Deadlines page on this website or contact your graduate department coordinator for more information.
NOTE ON COURSE NUMBERS: Purdue Plans of Study need to match your transcript exactly. With the new course numbering scheme, please use the 3-4 letter subject code only in the subject field; eliminate the hyphen and put the letter code in the number field and add a zero to the end:
CSCI-I 555 now should be CSCI in the subject and i5550 in the number field.
Please follow the Change to Plan of Study instructions below to update your POS to the new course numbers for all Fall 2024 courses and after.

Graduate Certificates
Students enrolled in Purdue Graduate Certificate Programs should complete the appropriate plan of study form below and submit to your department staff by the school plan of study deadline - usually at the end of the semester prior to certificate graduation.
