I chose IUPUI for its critical educational programming and availability, and accommodations they have for working students.
What has been your favorite academic accomplishment since you’ve been here?
My favorite academic accomplishment is the development of my dissertation proposal. It still is not quite there, but it has come a long way.
What do you enjoy most about life in Indianapolis?
Exploring Indianapolis’s parks, restaurants, and sports with my partner.
Please provide some details about your work/research as a graduate student and/or any activities you are involved in.
I am a Doctoral Research Assistant for the Great Lakes Equity Center and Midwest and Plains Equity Assistance Center. The connection between the theory I learn in my classes and the work in the center really developed my understanding and development in educational studies.
